St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I don't have an Irish bone in my body (at least I don't think I do) but I think St. Patrick's Day is a great spring tradition to mark. The fresh green and white is so crisp and a great pick me up from the dreariness that the no longer white snow that is usually outside this time of year.  

We brought in a few little St. Patrick's Day goodies to add to your décor for the month. They are cute, farmhouse styled and inexpensive and of course - white and or green! Enjoy the fresh bright white and green colours of the season and may the luck of the Irish be with you!

Love is in the Air

It’s February! So much love in the air! I know lots of people think that Valentine’s is just a "contrived holiday" by the card makers and the florists – but I still think it’s fun to celebrate a wee bit. My boys make the sweetest cards for me (sorry card retailers) and my husband celebrates with some flowers for me (you’re welcome local florist)! 

Since I am in a house of all boys I take whatever chance I have to add a feminine touch to all the super heroes, legos and saw dust my boys tend to use to decorate!  Here’s a few favorites:
