Love is in the air!
It’s February! So much love in the air! I know lots of people think that Valentine’s is just a "contrived holiday" by the card makers and the florists – but I still think it’s fun to celebrate a wee bit. My boys make the sweetest cards for me (sorry card retailers) and my husband celebrates with some flowers for me (you’re welcome local florist)!
Since I am in a house of all boys I take whatever chance I have to add a feminine touch to all the super heroes, legos and saw dust my boys tend to use to decorate! Here’s a few favorites:
These little wooden distressed hearts will look great wherever you place them. You could even turn them into a card if you grabbed a sharpie and wrote on the back!
The first time I saw this I Love You Sign I knew it was a winner. It brought a smile to my face and something I hope my boys know deeply. It has just the right amount of distressing on the black frame and the font is spot on.
These wooden words, HOME and LOVE while perfect for Valentine’s season are also perfect décor all year long. I love their modern farmhouse distressing. Simply perfect and perfectly simple.
And last but not least my love for gnomes can’t be forgotten this season! These Gnome mugs make a great gift. Grab a bag of coffee from your favorite barista or fill it with chocolate and you’ve got you've got a happy Valentine.
